Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
WebhookBridge (“WebhookBridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a Discord application that forwards messages from selected Discord channels to webhook destinations chosen by authorized server administrators.
This Privacy Policy explains how we process information when you use the WebhookBridge Discord application, website, support services, and subscription services (collectively, the “Service”).
2. How the Service Works
An authorized server administrator may connect a selected Discord channel to an HTTPS webhook destination. When a message is posted in that connected channel, WebhookBridge processes the message to deliver it to that destination.
WebhookBridge sends information from Discord to the destination chosen by the administrator. It is not a service for sending third-party webhooks into Discord.
3. Information We Process
Depending on how the Service is configured, we may process:
- Discord server, channel, message, and user identifiers;
- Discord server and channel names;
- Discord usernames and display names;
- Message content, timestamps, attachments, and attachment URLs;
- Webhook URLs and connection settings entered by authorized administrators;
- Plan, subscription, and usage information needed to provide paid access; and
- Technical, security, and diagnostic information needed to operate and troubleshoot the Service.
4. How We Use Information
- Connect selected Discord channels to their configured webhook destinations;
- Deliver messages and attachment URLs to those destinations;
- Provide connection, plan, usage, and subscription features;
- Maintain, secure, diagnose, and improve the Service;
- Prevent abuse, fraud, security incidents, and unauthorized use; and
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information or use Discord message data for advertising.
5. Webhook Destinations and Third Parties
When an administrator connects a channel, information from messages in that channel is sent to the webhook destination selected by that administrator. The receiving service may store or use that information under its own privacy policy and terms.
WebhookBridge relies on third parties, including Discord for the application platform, Render for hosting, Whop for subscription and billing services, and providers operating the webhook destinations selected by users.
We do not control the privacy, security, availability, or data-handling practices of third-party services. Administrators are responsible for using webhook URLs they are authorized to use and for reviewing the receiving service’s policies.
6. Storage and Retention
WebhookBridge stores connection settings, including webhook URLs, and related server, channel, usage, and subscription information when needed to provide the Service.
Discord message content is processed to construct and deliver webhook requests and is not designed to be stored as a permanent message database record. Message-related information may be temporarily present in memory or technical logs when needed for delivery, error handling, security, or troubleshooting.
Disconnecting a channel stops future forwarding from that channel. It may not immediately remove historic usage, subscription, security, or technical records that must be retained for operational or legal purposes.
7. Security
Webhook URLs should be treated as confidential. Depending on the receiving service, possession of a webhook URL may allow someone to send requests to that destination.
We use reasonable measures intended to protect information handled by the Service. However, no online service or method of transmission can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Privacy Requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about personal information we process.
To make a privacy request, contact us at privacy@webhookbridge.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and authority to make the request.
9. Children and International Transfers
The Service is not directed to children below the minimum age required to use Discord in their country. If you believe a child has provided information to us in violation of applicable law, contact us at privacy@webhookbridge.com.
The Service and its providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or our data practices change. We will update the “Last updated” date when we make changes. Please review this page periodically.
