WebhookBridge Bot Documentation

Set up the bot, connect Discord channels to HTTPS webhooks, manage forwarding, and understand the dashboard, plans, usage, and common issues.

Quick start

  1. Add WebhookBridge to your Discord server.
  2. Go to the Discord channel you want to automate.
  3. Run /dashboard.
  4. Choose a starter scenario or select Connect a Webhook, then enter the public HTTPS webhook URL from your destination service.
  5. Send a message in the connected channel to test forwarding.
  6. Open Metrics in the dashboard to confirm delivery activity.

Server administrators control connection and billing changes. Other members can still open the dashboard and see the information that is safe for non-administrators.

Connection behavior

  • Only selected Discord channels are forwarded.
  • A channel can have one active WebhookBridge destination at a time.
  • The Connections view is administrator-only; non-administrators can still see that the feature exists.
  • If a channel is managed by a Make webhook, remove that saved webhook in Make before switching the channel to a manual dashboard connection.

Forwarded data

WebhookBridge forwards new, non-bot Discord messages from connected channels. Message edits and deletions are not forwarded as new events.

A successful delivery uses this payload shape:
JSON
{
  "event_type": "discord.message.created",
  "guild_id": "123456789012345678",
  "guild_name": "Example Server",
  "channel_id": "234567890123456789",
  "channel_name": "announcements",
  "message_id": "345678901234567890",
  "user_id": "456789012345678901",
  "username": "exampleuser",
  "display_name": "Example User",
  "message": "Hello from Discord",
  "attachments": [
    {
      "url": "https://cdn.discordapp.com/...",
      "content_type": "image/png",
      "filename": "example.png"
    }
  ],
  "attachment_urls": [
    "https://cdn.discordapp.com/..."
  ],
  "timestamp": "2026-09-18T12:00:00.000Z"
}

Attachment fields can be empty when a message has no files. Your destination decides what happens next—for example, creating an email, CRM record, database entry, task, notification, or other automation.

Plans and limits

PlanChannelsForwarded messagesPrice
Free22,000 / monthFree
Basic35,000 / month$2.99 / month
Pro1025,000 / month$5.99 / month
Business25100,000 / month$19.99 / month

Active Business servers can also purchase one-time message packs: 10,000 extra messages for $4.99 or 50,000 for $14.99.

Usage counting

Each message successfully delivered to the configured webhook counts as one forwarded message. Failed or timed-out deliveries do not keep a usage credit.

When the monthly allowance is reached, new forwarding pauses until the allowance resets or eligible extra message credits are available. Use /dashboard and open Plan & Usage to check the current server usage.

Business message-pack credits carry forward while the server remains on an active Business plan and are used after the included monthly allowance.

Webhook requirements

  • The destination URL must use HTTPS.
  • The webhook must point to a public host.
  • The URL must not contain embedded credentials.
  • Use the webhook URL from the destination automation service—not a Discord incoming-webhook URL.
